With just four unique modules that can be configured to meet your project requirements, significant time and cost is saved when compared to a traditional purpose built structure.
Modular reinforced concrete design allows for a customizable, flexible layout.
Onsite installation in a matter of weeks limits site disruption and construction safety exposure.
8-inch reinforced concrete provides inherent protection, which has been improved upon through design and testing.
FORTRESS Protective Buildings can be configured to fit a range of different floor plans and building functions such as operator shelters, control rooms, and other buildings. With just four unique modules that can be configured to meet your project requirements, significant time and cost is saved when compared to a traditional purpose built structure.
The modules are fabricated at one of Tindall Corporation’s PCI-certified plants, transported to the site, and installed with minimum disruptions. Tindall is one of the largest producers of precast building systems in North America and a pioneer in the fabrication of modular components. View more at their website, www.tindallcorp.com.
Interior and Exterior Finishing
FORTRESS Protective Buildings are ready for occupancy within 3-5 weeks for standard floorplans and finishings.
Modules arrive onsite and are bolted together at a rate of 8-10 per day. Once the exterior is assembled, BakerRisk's proprietary thermal seals are applied, grouting between the pad and the modules is completed, blast doors are fitted, and the waterproof sealing is applied.
The building's Shelter-in-Place control system is installed, which includes the interior and exterior air handling and detection equipment.
The interior finishing is completed to the client specifications and dependent on the building's intended function.
Final walkthrough occurs to ensure specifications have been met, the final toxic gas Shelter-in-Place control system testing is completed, and the building is ready for occupancy.
