Protective Enclosures
FORTRESS enclosures are designed to contain high-energy fragments and mitigate hazards originating from within a structure, such as high pressure testing, battery abuse testing, flywheel containment systems, and many more. Constructed with reinforced concrete walls, base and roof, these enclosures are engineered to withstand the hazards generated by the equipment within the structure.
Steel rebar reinforcement enhances structural integrity, allowing the enclosure to absorb and dissipate kinetic energy from ejected debris. For additional safety, linings or barriers can be installed on interior walls to reduce the impact of secondary projectiles. Ventilation and access points, if required, can be designed with protective grates or blast-resistant doors to maintain containment integrity. These enclosures ensure that personnel and critical equipment outside the impact zone remain protected—even in worst-case scenarios.
